This is the personal website of Marek Ševčík, a product designer based in the Czech Republic. I’m responsible for any personal data handled through it. Questions or requests:sevcik.mark@gmail.com.

Booking a call

When you book a call, you give me your name, your email address, an optional note and the time you picked. These are used to create an event in my Google Calendar and to send you a calendar invitation with a Google Meet link. Google then emails the invitation to you. They are not used for anything else.

To suggest free times, the website asks Google Calendar for the times I’m busy in the coming weeks. It only receives “busy” or “free”. It never reads the titles, attendees or contents of my events, and it doesn’t store any of this.

Google user data

The booking feature uses Google Calendar access on my own Google account only. It doesn’t ask visitors to sign in with Google and doesn’t access visitors’ Google accounts. The access is limited to reading free/busy information and creating booking events. Data received from Google APIs is used only to show available times and to create bookings. It isn’t sold, shared with third parties, used for advertising, or used to train AI models. Its use complies with theGoogle API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Sending a message

The message form doesn’t send anything to a server. It opens your own email app with the message filled in, and you decide whether to send it. While you write, an unsent draft is kept in your browser (this tab only) so it isn’t lost when you move between pages. It is deleted when you send it or close the tab.

Analytics

The website uses Vercel Web Analytics to count page views. It doesn’t use cookies and doesn’t identify you or follow you across other websites. The site is hosted by Vercel, which handles standard technical data such as IP addresses to deliver pages.

How long data is kept

Booking details stay in my calendar as long as the event does. Emails stay in my inbox as long as the conversation is useful. I’ll delete either on request.

Your rights

You can ask me what I hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or object to its use. Write to sevcik.mark@gmail.com. You can also complain to the Czech data protection authority (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů).
